Prepares or assists with the preparation of assigned material requisitions and bid evaluations
Leads or administers work of PD&P designers and drafters for a business line technology to include the preparation of layouts, study drawings, detailed 2-D and 3-D Computer Aided Design (CAD) design models and construction drawings
Participates in constructability reviews
Coordinates or makes jobsite visits, as required, to resolve problems and interpret drawings and documents
Prepares design and drafting procedures to standardize design effort
Endorses or prepares reports of work progress, as required, for project and discipline use
Develops designs for complete and complex 3D model equipment layouts & pipe designs with minimum supervision from which detailed scale models and/or construction drawings are completed
Monitors and checks work for compliance with approved PD&P design standards to provide quality design, reliable/safe plant operation and construction economy
Ensures PD&P systems designs comply with all applicable installation codes, regulations, and standards
Reviews PD&P design scope changes, as required, for project management

Experienced with mechanical equipment 3D modelling and drawing production using Autodesk Inventor and Microstation
Familiar with the layout, design development, 3D modelling and drawing production of typical mechanical equpment within mining and metals projects with emphasis on materials handling equipment, including conveyors, bins, chutes, feeders, hoppers, mills and lifting equipment
Operates across multiple sectors, including infrastructure, nuclear, security and environmental, oil, gas, chemicals, mining, and metals, as well as manufacturing, battery production and technology.
