The Role

Tasks

-Analysing HR data and business metrics to inform decision-making and drive performance. -Partner with internal and external stakeholders to support delivery of CSR programs focused on community impact, sustainability, and purpose alongside SWARCO’s strategic objectives. -Supporting business leaders in ensuring that headcount planning takes place in a timely manner and as part of the annual budgeting process and planning cycle. -Guiding and supporting effective performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and development conversations. -Working with leaders on employee engagement initiatives, taking feedback directly from engagement surveys and implementing local activities fostering belonging, motivation and retention. -Leading on workforce planning, including succession planning, skill development and recruitment strategies. -In conjunction with the HR Director UK & Ireland and Regional Operations Managers deliver large scale projects including restructures and TUPE processes. -Providing guidance, oversight and case management for employee relations issues across SWARCO business areas, acting as the first HR point of contact. Including acting as HR representative for cases as appropriate.

What You Bring

-A qualified professional Member of the CIPD (Associate, Chartered MCIPD or Chartered FCIPD) would be advantageous, but not essential. -Effective judgement and decision making, alongside the ability to create innovative and flexible solutions to business issues. -Demonstrable HR experience, some of which should be in a similar role in a large or medium sized organisation. -A demonstrable knowledge and understanding of UK (any Irish experience would be welcomed) employment law and its application is required, with the ability to apply that knowledge to a range of situations. -Holds a full UK driving licence and is prepared to travel regularly across sites in support of business objectives.
