Overview

Collect and maintain pressure loggers on water networks, record data and support leak detection.

Tasks

-Co-ordination of weekly activities with Line Managers -Ensuring Safe Working Methods are applied (SSOW) -Identifying water network fittings for deployment -Downloading/uploading data from logging equipment -Installing and maintaining pressure loggers on the water networks (AZP/CPP) -Daily deployment of pressure logging ‘Lift and Shift’ equipment throughout our water network -Moving heavy items including inspection chamber covers

What You Bring

-Valve Ops -Please note mandatory drugs and alcohol tests are undertaken for this role and a DBS check will be undertaken -Do you have Health and Safety knowledge and the capability to operate equipment and tools within an operational environment? -Do you have pressure logger knowledge? This would be an advantage, but not essential. -Working in all weather conditions (this could include night work also) -Potential requirement for out-of-hours (night/early start) work -Do you have lone working experience? -Full UK driving licence (Manual) -Completion of job forms, timesheets, and other required information -Are you PC literate, particularly in Microsoft Office applications like Word and Excel? -Reading water network plans and schematics -You may be required to work in confined spaces and on highways -Have you got excellent communication skills to enable positive interactions with customers?
