Overview

Prepare, mix, pour, and finish concrete, including repairs and rebar installation.

Tasks

-Repair concrete structures -Maintain a positive working relationship between co-workers and employees of subcontractors, vendors, inspectors and agency individuals working on a Crisdel job site. -Report to work on time, take meal breaks only during the allocated time periods and report back to work until the end of the designated shift. -Follow all safety protocols when using tools and equipment -Demo worksites and prepare them for new concrete pour or placement -Work safely while adhering to Crisdel's Safety Program & Guidelines as well as adhering to all federal, state and local rules and regulations. -Install rebar, expansion joints, or carbon fiber -Clean up the worksite when the project is complete -Adhere to the guidelines set forth in Crisdel's Employment Handbook. -Pour or place concrete

What You Bring

-In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire. -Knowledge road construction materials, road construction processes and industry requirements. -humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt -Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 LBS on a regular basis -Be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions. -Successfully pass a pre-employment (post-offer) drug screen and motor vehicle records check; a criminal background check will also be conducted -Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience working within the road construction industry -Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, and crouch for extended periods of time -Ability to work in a team environment -Must comply with the company's drug and alcohol testing requirements -Ability to kneel, stoop, crouch, balance, climb, crawl, and pull -Excellent hand, eye and foot coordination -Use of Personal Protection Equipment is required -High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred -Must be able to lift and carry at least 50-90 pounds -Valid driver's license issued within the United States clear of multiple and/or major violations -Use of sunscreen, long sleeves, and appropriate headgear is recommended -Mix concrete
