Tasks

This position is a direct report to the Group Product Manager and has sound knowledge of business processes in the specific area of SAP technology enablement and support. This position is responsible for managing one or more SAP products to meet business outcomes, spanning multiple technologies including associated impact, cost and complexity. In that capacity, this position is responsible for the following: Product Consultants are the primary facilitators for their product. Product Consultants are responsible for optimizing the value proposition. They anticipate issues and/or complications and respond well to time pressures. Serves as domain specific subject matter expert for their assigned product line. Serve as SAP change and landscape manager. -Work with other support team members including suppliers to ensure client expectations are met related to system reliability, SLA’s, ticket resolution, minor modifications and escalations. -Manage SAP landscapes including system refresh, transport synchronization, transport management across landscape. -Develop and maintain an in-depth technical and business knowledge of the of various business processes to ensure efficient design, programming, testing and implementation of recommended solutions. -Work with SAP clients, support and development teams to provide subject matter expertise in the day-to-day support of the business area related to business process and technology integration expertise. -Monitor and execute IT SOX controls and work closely with internal and external auditors. -Support the Disaster Recovery (DR) Process for the SAP systems with an emphasis on the systems supporting the HR/payroll function including updating of the DR plan, periodic testing and activation in the event of an emergency. -Coordinate and run planned outages for systems in area of accountability with the LOB and IT. -Manage and communicate problem resolution and system restoration status during unplanned outage events to LOB and IT Senior Management. -Provide expertise in SAP product lifecycle management, roadmap development, and feature prioritization. -After-hours callout is required.

What You Bring

-In-depth Knowledge of and various modules. -Understanding of and experience in IT project management methodologies, requirements management, quality assurance and IT processes. -Demonstrated leadership capabilities through projects or other work planning experiences. -Demonstrated experience managing outsourced vendors (on and offshore) within the information technology field. -Requires broad knowledge of the business area's functions and applications, and of system and technology alternatives. -Strong analytical and creative ability to identify, assess, and resolve complex functional and technical issues. -Strong oral and written communication skills. -Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and 10 years of relevant experience. -Highly skilled subject matter expert, bridging business needs with SAP solutions, leading projects, and ensuring successful implementation and ongoing support of SAP systems, focusing on specific modules like HR, FI, SM WM, Ariba, MM, PM or Success Factors.
