What You Bring
-Attendance required at Grand Rapids Community College during off-working hours to complete academic requirements -Individual must be self-motivated and able to accept and retain information through continuous leaning and training -Must be able to meet assessment standards for the position -Ability to work on or around machinery -High School diploma or equivalent - requires a GPA 2.5 or above -Excellent prior work record (attendance, performance, etc.) -Ability to work other than normal work hours and may include weekends, holidays, etc. -Proficient with computers and various computer programs -Ability to rotate shifts and plants during the four (4) year, 8,000-hour DOL apprenticeship program -Ability to work in high/confined areas
