Assistant Finance Business Partner

Overview

Assist finance team with project accounts, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.

Tasks

-Assist business partners with annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and ad-hoc reporting. -Monitor provisions, post journals, and liaise with group and regional finance teams. -Oversee project approvals, closures, and regular financial system housekeeping. -Prepare monthly project accounts and support the production of end-to-end management accounts. -Collaborate with the Project Operations Team and provide financial analysis to leadership. -Support with invoice processing, month-end tasks, and general financial reporting.

What You Bring

-Previous experience in professional services or engineering/construction is advantageous. -Highly organised, able to prioritise and work to tight deadlines. -Proficient in Microsoft Excel; adept at maintaining supporting financial systems. -Previous experience within a similar role . -AAT qualification or similar is welcome; qualified by experience will also be considered. -Experience in management accounts and month-end processes is essential. -A proactive and adaptable problem-solver, able to work independently. -Experience with Agresso or Deltek Vantagepoint systems is useful but not essential. -Resilience with excellent communication abilities and attention to detail.
