The Role
Overview
Lead AV commissioning team, ensure quality, manage projects, mentor staff.

Tasks
-Assign staff to projects, monitor workload balance, and ensure delivery milestones are achieved -Provide coaching, mentoring, and technical support to commissioning team members -Directly supervise a team of AV commissioning engineers and technicians (typically 4-10 team members) -Serve as an escalation point for technical and personnel issues on commissioning projects -Collaborate with project managers, field supervisors, and operations leaders to align commissioning schedules with project requirements -Participate in client-facing meetings, representing Rosendin commissioning as a trusted partner -Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback in alignment with Rosendin's leadership values -Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and contractual obligations -Oversee QA/QC practices, ensuring all systems meet Rosendin and industry standards before client turnover -Support recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of new AV commissioning staff -Contribute to development of process improvements, best practices, and standard work for AV commissioning

What You Bring
-Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs. -Proficient with advanced DSP configuration, control system programming verification, and advanced signal flow debugging -General work environment - sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning -Crestron Certified Programmer, Extron Authorized Programmer, AVIXA Audiovisual Network Professional (ANP), QSC Q-SYS Quantum Courses, QSC Q-SYS Control & UCI Advanced, Dante Level 3, Dante Domain Manager - Administrator, Dante AV Elective preferred -Crestron Foundations of Programming (P101), Crestron Smartgraphics and Construct,Crestron DigitalMedia Technician, Crestron DM-NVX Designer (DMC-D-NVX), Crestron Intelligent Video - Certified Designer IVC-D, Crestron Networks Solutions - Introduction,Extron Control Specialist, Extron XTP Systems Design Engineer, Extron ProDSP Specialist,Netgear AV Certification Level 1, QSC Q-SYS Level 1, QSC Q-SYS Video 101, QSC Q-SYS Control 101, QSC Q-SYS Control & UCI Fundimentals, QSC Q-SYS VisionSuite ACPR Level 1, QSC Q-SYS VisionSuite Seervision Level 1, Biamp Vocia, Biamp Tesira AV Programming Level 1, Valcom IP6000 IP Based Intercom, Shure Integrated Systems Certification Level 1, Dante Level 1 required -Strong understanding of AVIXA standards and commissioning best practices -Up to 20% - includes travel for field assessments, vendor oversight, and team support. -Demonstrated ability to manage workloads, coach technical staff, and maintain quality standards -Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously -Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory or team lead experience preferred -AVIXA CTS-I required; manufacturer certifications (Crestron, Extron, QSC, Biamp, Shure, etc.) a plus -Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across field teams, operations, and clients -Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience) -10+ years of experience in AV commissioning, installation, or systems engineering
