Tasks

In this role, you’ll lead safety and environmental governance, ensure compliance with legal and company standards, and work cross-functionally to embed best practices at every level—from the shop floor to senior leadership. -Manage workers compensation and return-to-work programs -Lead incident reporting, investigation, and corrective actions -Conduct audits and risk assessments, implementing high-risk programs (e.g., manual handling, hazardous substances, contractor management) -Coordinate EHS training and internal communications to support safety initiatives -Drive and continuously improve EHS programs and systems across ANZ manufacturing sites -Oversee contractor management and site maintenance schedules -Ensure compliance with state and national EHS legislation and maintain legal/risk registers

What You Bring

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Safety Advisor to join our Seeding & Tillage team in St Marys, NSW. Reporting to the Production Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining and improving our Safety-First culture across ANZ manufacturing sites. -Tertiary qualification in EHS or related field -Ability to lead complex projects and drive cultural change -8+ years’ experience in a similar role within manufacturing -Strong knowledge of EHS legislation and compliance requirements -Skilled in incident investigation and risk management -Intermediate MS Office and safety management system skills -Strong knowledge of EHS legislation across warehousing/distribution in the ANZ region preferred -Willingness to travel (to regional sites in NSW and SA)
