Overview

Provide and manage land surveying services across PGE departments.

Tasks

-Completes complex assignments with minimal supervision. -Outdoor: Field work in varying environmental conditions, including elevated areas, unstable surfaces, and confined spaces. -Expands analytical and technical skills in a structured environment. -May help determine approaches for new assignments. -Independently uses advanced survey and CAD tools. -Applies basic to intermediate skills to assigned tasks. -Develops and checks technical documentation and data outputs. -Works under moderate supervision using established procedures and methods. -May include variable, shift, and on-call schedules.

What You Bring

-Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. -Strong geodetic knowledge and coordinate systems. -Team collaboration and time management. -Skilled in using GPS, total stations, electronic levels. -Intermediate expertise in survey standards, laws, and boundary law. -Basic knowledge of plane and geodetic survey math. -Able to read and interpret engineering plans and legal descriptions. -Working interpersonal and communication skills. -Physical navigation of stairs, ladders, confined spaces, and rough terrain. -Lifting/Carrying: Up to and exceeding 50 lbs. as needed. -Must be available during severe weather or emergency events. -Working knowledge of survey standards and laws. -Computer use: Regular, full-shift use. -Ability to maintain reliable and punctual attendance. -Adaptability to change and feedback. -Demonstrates proficiency in a variety of processes through training and experience.
