Tasks

-Assure all engineering products prepared are in accordance with applicable safety analyses, industry codes, and all regulatory requirements. -Perform independent research, reviews, studies and analyses in support of technical projects. -Participate in the development and implementation of effective processes and techniques at appropriate levels of detail and in compliance with established policies and procedures. -Recommend equipment, new concepts and techniques to improve performance, simplify construction, reduce costs, correct design or material flaws, or comply with changes in codes or regulations. -Provide technical expertise and consultation through direct involvement to identify and resolve equipment and system problems. -Provide complete task management of engineering issues. -Responsible for performing engineering and technical tasks, under general supervision, in support of Power plant operations. -Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering analysis, activities and programs. -Recommend format and methodology improvements to standard processes and procedures. -Perform engineering and technical tasks as assigned by supervision applying general engineering principles.

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear) or related science -Procurement Engineer experience -Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Science or related field with 2 years experience -Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Science and 5 years of experience, or 9 years of relevant equivalent experience in lieu of the degree -Demonstrated ability to mentor other engineers in key knowledge and skills. -Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or science or related field with 3 years experience -1-year nuclear or related engineering experience -* Current Employees Only: Demonstrated solid or better results for at least 2-years and demonstrates progress in developing at least half of the key knowledge and skills of a Senior Engineer -* Current Employees Only: Must have completed engineering training and assigned job specific qualifications and skills -* Current Employees Only: Solid understanding of core functions performed by the team, with a strong grasp of relevant techniques and processes -* Current Employees Only: Must have 1-year of experience as Engineer 2A -* Current Employees Only: Demonstrated ability to assist and mentor junior engineers on technical, as well as, HU/THU fundamentals -Engineering experience in the Nuclear or Utility industry -* Current Employees Only: Demonstrated solid or better results for at least 2-years and works independently in assigned areas of knowledge and skills -Electrical Engineering degree, highly preferred
