Tasks

-Develop PowerBI Dashboards for interactive cost management for assigned categories. -Maintain supplier lists for assigned categories and build partnerships with strategic suppliers. -Perform category management of assigned areas such as MRO items, distribution and transmission materials. -Travel as needed to meet with Business Unit customers and suppliers (expected travel up to 1 week per month). -Lead the formulation of category strategies and negotiation of key terms for highly complex sourcing events. -Effectively communicate initiative updates and savings targets across the organization. -Maintain relationship with supplier senior executives. -Frequent Business Unit Executive updates on cost analysis and budget impact strategies. -Develop, build and present strategic plans and dashboards for assigned spend categories. -Analyze relevant markets and assess cost impacts of market events for assigned categories. -Proactively engage and collaborate with Business Unit customers on strategic business goals, category strategies, initiatives, and budget impact targets. -Developing knowledge of assigned categories. -Lead cross-functional, enterprise-wide savings initiatives. -Setting meaningful category savings targets and deliver savings results by implementing procurement strategies based on TCO analysis and innovation. -Develop and Lead charter initiatives for process improvements and budget impact opportunities.

What You Bring

-Ability to navigate organization and influence decisions. -Hands-on understanding of business processes and objectives. -Strong understanding of business cost drivers. -Strong analytic toolset that will support the creation of financial targets, detailed analysis of spend data, and structure of TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) models. -Ability to develop and implement a structured, negotiation strategy. -Excellent project management skills, with ability to resolve problems and to remove barriers to success. -Strong mentoring skills.
