Tasks
-Conduct post-bid reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of bid strategies. -Keep up to date with industry trends, client needs, and best practices in bid writing. -Write, edit, and proofread bid content, ensuring clarity, consistency, and impact. -Collaborate with estimators, quantity surveyors, project managers, and senior leadership to gather technical input and develop compelling proposals. -Interpret tender documents, PQQs, and ITTs to ensure full compliance and strategic alignment. -Conduct post-bid reviews to analyse strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement. -Lead the end-to-end bid writing process for public and private sector tenders. -Develop reusable content libraries and maintain up-to-date case studies, CVs, and project profiles. -Manage bid timelines and submission schedules, ensuring all deadlines are met.

What You Bring
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bid Writing Specialist to join our client’s dynamic team. This pivotal role involves crafting winning bids and proposals for high-value construction projects across residential, commercial and public sector domains. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes, procurement frameworks, and the ability to translate technical information into persuasive, client-focused content. -Exceptional written communication and storytelling skills. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with bid management tools (e.g., InDesign, Canva, Adobe Professional etc) is a plus. -Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills. -Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple bids simultaneously. -Strategic thinker with a commercial mindset. -Strong understanding of procurement processes -Ability to simplify complex technical information for non-technical audiences. -High attention to detail and commitment to quality. -Proven experience in bid writing within the construction or built environment sector.
