Provide technical support and maintenance for AV conference rooms and equipment.

Tasks

-Contact clients to ensure proper set up of configurable rooms per specifications (table layout, airwall opening, and closure, technology configuration including microphones & projection needed, etc.) -Ensure consumables are available for the client -Perform routine and proactive testing to ensure the functionality of equipment before use. -Ensure cleanliness, temperature, and functionality of conference rooms -Bring technical expertise and guidance for the deployment & operation of Crestron Flex and Polycom VTC codec -Responsible for communicating the need for maintenance or repair of audio-visual equipment -Review standard setup specifications for meetings and conferences -Alignment and calibration procedures for audio and video devices -Proactively monitor and manage conference room booking system. Assist customers with booking different rooms when they are under repair -Provides support for the audio-video systems and media control systems. -Respond to client requests promptly -Provide white-glove technical support for internal, customer, and C-level executive meetings -Maintain conference room standards for signage, equipment, and seating -Proactively identify potential AV issues and provide solutions to clients’ concerns or needs -Troubleshoot and maintain audio/video devices and associated wiring. Responsible for putting in tickets with IT department responsible for audio visual technology -Perform regular maintenance, software and firmware updates, preventive maintenance, and routine repairs to provide uninterrupted service of all conference room equipment

What You Bring

-Ability to learn new software as required for the position -Electronics troubleshooting skills – ability to determine and localize where the problem exists -Familiarity with integrated AV systems -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities -Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of related experience OR Diploma with 4+ years of related experience -2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office in an office environment -2 years’ experience in a client/customer service-oriented environment, preferably in a corporate conference center -Must always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor -Experience with EMS or any web-based conference room scheduling system preferred -Demonstrate the ability to perform under pressure and manage time well -Crestron, AMX, or Extron Certifications (preferred) -DSP Programming (BIAMP, QCS) (preferred) -Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of video conferencing services, for example, Microsoft Teams, Zoom or WebEx, etc. -CTS Certification (preferred) -Experience with a hotel, corporate conference center, or large enterprise systems
