Tasks

-Plan and review results of End of Warranty inspections. Build End of Warranty reports to submit to OEM prior to the end of the warranty periods. -Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies for mechanical systems. -Monitor the implementation of new procedures, upgrades, performance improvements, retrofits, execution of preventative maintenance, etc. -Support Procurement to technical evaluate and technical approve services and materials -Lead wind turbine asset operational and generation performance review and troubleshooting efforts to ensure EGPNA performance goals are met. -Maintain required training certifications and qualifications. -Collaborate with OEMs, service providers, and internal stakeholders to improve component performance and reduce downtime -Analyze operational data to identify trends, failure modes, and opportunities for reliability enhancement. -Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders. -Review components inspection reports and recommendations from third parties and ensure actions are taken based on that information. -Provide engineering expertise and technical leadership to the Technical Support organization. -Evaluate and ensure successful implementation of upgrade and improvement opportunities. -Perform blade damage reviews and create Scope of Work instructions for repairs. -Lead and support engineering investigations into drivetrain and blade reliability issues, including root cause analysis and corrective action planning. -Support O&M actively during construction phase, hand-over to O&M and the wind farm warranty period. -Create Technical Specifications and Scope of Works for services, materials, and upgrades on the EGPNA fleet.

What You Bring

-O&M technical best practices identification and global implementation across EGPNA fleet. -Physical Activities: Ability to work at height and climb EGPNA turbines (>300ft). -Strong knowledge on Wind Turbine operations, maintenance, and performance. -Strong computer skills with experience on the MS suite including Word, Excel and MS Project. -Experience with failure analysis, reliability engineering, and condition monitoring tools -String understand of major wind turbine components (gearboxes, generators, bearings) and blade structures (materials, aerodynamics, damage mechanisms) -Minimum of 5 years of related experience with wind turbines design, manufacturing, maintenance or operation. -Good written and verbal communications, interpersonal, and organizational skills required. -Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of wind turbines technology, as well as in data and failure analysis. -Able to interpret and create technical documentation and specifications. -Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License -Mental Functions: Ability to solve complex problems, Ability to make decisions based on limited information, Time management, communicating and interpersonal skills. -Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university. -Ability to work independently. -Strong initiative and drive for high achievement and continuous improvement. -Up to 25% travel required.
