The Role

Overview

Hands‑on supervisor managing building maintenance trades, inspections and repairs.

Tasks

-Supervise and coordinate tradespeople and subcontractors across multiple workstreams -Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, quality, and compliance -Compile management reports on operational activities and performance -Provide excellent customer care and resolve issues professionally -Liaise with the client & their surveyors as required on work orders -Monitor productivity, resource allocation, and contract profitability -Oversee responsive repairs to ensure timely and high-quality delivery -Conduct pre- and post-inspections on internal and external tenanted properties -Inspect works at height including ladders checks -Line management of operatives & their performance -Ensure all works meet industry standards and building regulations -Carry out monthly health & safety checks -Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols and company operating procedures

What You Bring

-A full valid UK manual driving licence -Comfortable working at height and inspecting scaffolding-based works -Organisational and planning skills to manage resources and meet deadlines -Ability to carry out inspections and assess work against quality standards -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills -Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multi-trade teams -Proven experience supervising operatives within the repairs and maintenance sector -Strong customer focus and commitment to service excellence -Experience in the above duties -A trade background with hands-on knowledge of building maintenance practices -Strong understanding of responsive repair & Damp & Mould work programmes
