Tasks

Communicate effectively with the Project Manager Assist with development of work scopes and front end documents Monitor performance and coordinate work to maintain productivity of trades, ensuring adequate manpower for work in place Effective timely resolution of conflicts and disputes to minimize delays and claims Coordinate and track material deliveries Demonstrate fiscal responsibility by enforcing contract requirements and limiting field changes Enforce corporate safety policies on jobsite, providing key responsibility for safety compliance in the field • Implement proactive pre-task safety planning for all work activities Develop and maintain complete and detailed project schedule and manage work in accordance with the schedule Supervise, coordinate and sequence contractors’ work Develop site logistics plans for entire project to maximize productivity

What You Bring

Strong negotiation skills to resolve field issues with subcontractor, design team and/or owner Industrial, Energy or Automotive market experience highly preferred Minimum of 10 years of direct supervision of projects including subcontractors and trades • 4-year technical/engineering degree or equivalent professional experience The ability to travel to project sites for long-term projects required (particularly within MI and OH)
