Tasks

-Build and deliver in close collaboration “Availability & Capacity Management” for Core IS -process owner -Steer, Guide and modernize the observability capability to scale up for the Future Hosting Model (FHM) as well as Future Network Model (FNM) transformation from supplier based (earlier) outsourced model to in-house model -Expand the Application layer monitoring and bring “Single pane of glass” - vision for ABB Core Platform -Establishing and managing analytics methods, techniques, and capabilities to enable the organization to analyze data, generate insights, create value, and drive decision-making. -Support SIAM and NOC capabilities coming out of FNM -Lead & Manage the highly skilled global team of 15+ internal ABB Employees including three Line Managers and L2, L3 Skillset -Defining metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of implemented technologies and channels, setting continuous improvement on customer and consumer experiences, and ensuring technology-driven value creation in business. -Executing sustainable maintenance of services, solutions, and/or applications by leading cross-functional global teams, establishing strong vendor partnerships, and comprehensive stakeholder management. -Manage end to end responsibilities (Vendor, Platform, Build + Run) for ServiceNow ITOM, Moogosft (APEX AIOps), Dynatrace, Checkmk, Cloud-native solutions (Azure, AWS, GCP), Grafana, OpenTelemetry, SolarWinds, ThousandEyes + other similar tools; Snowflake, API integrations -Transition & Transform all ABB Managed Servers, Infrastructure and Network device Observability and build & run core observability platform

What You Bring

-Ability to demonstrate your experience in / Have established skills / advanced skills / You have 15+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure and Application Area with 8+ years of experience in managing Observability with AIOps driven Monitoring platforms enabling SRE approach -You are at ease communicating in English with Global Stakeholders -Possess an enhanced knowledge of / You are qualified in / Highly adept in DevOps, Agile, Multi landscape Platforms such as Dynatrace, CheckMk, Moogsoft, Grafana, AIOps -You are immersed in / engaged in / absorbed in / highly skilled in/ you enjoy working with DevOps, Agile, Multi landscape Platforms such as Dynatrace, CheckMk, Moogsoft, Grafana, AIOps -You are passionate about / you are captivated by / you are innovative around AIOps and strategic leadership mindset with Architecture framework to drive Observability strategy and lead operations around full stack observability -Degree in / Have a demonstrated track record in / Extensive knowledge of / Proven experience of vendor agnostic certifications in Observability area, CheckMk, Grafana, MoogSoft, AIOps
