The Role

Overview

Install, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems while delivering customer service

Tasks

-Follow company procedures and safety regulations in the completion of job assignments. -Will walk and move throughout the work area as needed. -Work with Scheduler to ensure workload is accomplished in a timely manner. -A service call is an opportunity to have direct interaction with our customers. This is an opportunity for additional work and potentially a maintenance customer. -Responsible for the proper operations, repairs, replacement and preventative maintenance of commercial air conditioning and heating systems -Use various hand tools and testing equipment to perform tasks.

What You Bring

-Working knowledge of PCs, tablets and smart phones. -Thorough knowledge of HVAC troubleshooting and installation techniques -Knowledge of electrical systems -Able to communicate with co-workers, other members of supervision as to work in progress, work completed, and/or work to be performed in the future. -Able to fill out (complete) appropriate paperwork, forms, etc. to document work in progress and/or completion. -Ability to interpret drawings. -Familiar with piping, chillers, med gas, controls, etc. -Be thorough in the evaluation of equipment, honest in communicating options to the customer and respectful of customers decision. -Self-starter willing to travel regionally to MI, IL, OH, K, IN and WV -Stand, sit, or squat for long periods of time to perform essentials of work assigned. -Will lift up to 50lbs unassisted. Generally, will push, pull, reach and stoop as needed. -Universal EPA certification and a valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required. -Able to make minor decisions as to set-ups and sequences to follow. -High school graduation or equivalent. 2 years’ experience in maintaining equipment. -Extensive knowledge on working on boilers, chillers, and cooling towers. -KY Journeymen’s License required -Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform duties with minimal supervision. -Require regular attendance and ability to get along with co-workers. -Able to work off ladders and lifts
