Tasks

-Providing technical training and support to staff. -Participation in conferences, technical presentations, and papers. -Developing and implementing technical approaches for completing site characterization activities. -Preparing written proposals, managing project budgets and subcontractors, and communicating with project managers, clients, and regulators. -Managing small to regional multi-disciplined projects.

What You Bring

-Willing to travel and perform fieldwork. -Experience with completing fieldwork and managing projects subject to regulatory review and oversight in California. -40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification. -Professional registration in California as a Geologist (PG) is required. -Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment both in the field and in the office. -Bachelor’s degree or higher in Geology or similar. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills. -Extensive experience managing and overseeing environmental investigations and drilling programs and sampling various types of environmental media. -Valid driver's license and clean driving record. -8 to 15 years of relevant work experience. -Knowledgeable with California and Federal environmental regulations, including but not limited to waste characterization/disposal, DWR CA Well Standards, RCRA, and CERCLA. -Ability to work in the Irvine Office.
