The Role

Overview

Lead the Converter Control department, ensuring strategic, technical and operational excellence.

Tasks

-Serve as a UK legal and financial signatory -Build and maintain a high-performing team with the right mix of competencies and leadership roles -Interface with UK Real Estates for facility-related matters -Provide technical sparring and guidance to team members -Liaise with UK HR Business Partners and EHS community, ensuring compliance with UK safety standards -Oversee recruitment and development of graduates in the UK Graduate Scheme -Conduct regular 1:1s with direct reports, Functional Leaders, UK Team Leads, and cross-functional stakeholders -Ensure robust planning, efficient processes, and seamless interfaces with other departments -Act as Individual Contributor Manager (ICM) for UK-based team members -Foster strong vertical communication between Engineering Leadership (EL) and the Control Department

What You Bring

-Strong technical background with the ability to mentor and guide engineers -Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills -Degree in a relevant field or equivalent demonstrable experience -Proven leadership experience in control systems or related engineering fields -Familiarity with UK HR, EHS, and legal frameworks is a plus
