Overview

Lead design & execution of offshore topside electrical systems

Tasks

-Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems within topside modules. -Support site activities including inspections, punch-list closeout, and system energisation. -Provide technical support during procurement, fabrication, testing, installation, and commissioning. -Develop and review electrical design deliverables including load lists, single-line diagrams, cable schedules, protection studies, and equipment specifications. -Specify and evaluate equipment such as switchgear, transformers, MCCs, UPS, lighting, and grounding systems. -Review vendor documentation and conduct design verifications and risk assessments. -Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, API, NEC, and NFPA standards.

What You Bring

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer / Lead to contribute to the design and execution of offshore topside electrical systems. This role involves delivering high-quality engineering packages, ensuring compliance with international standards, and providing technical support throughout design, fabrication, and commissioning phases. If you are ready to bring your expertise in topside electrical design to complex offshore projects and thrive in a collaborative, results-driven environment, we want to hear from you! -Proficiency in ETAP, SKM, Digsilent, AutoCAD, PDMS/E3D, SmartPlant. -7–10+ years in electrical engineering for topside/offshore projects. -Offshore survival training (BOSIET or equivalent). -Strong knowledge of electrical design calculations, power distribution, and hazardous area classification. -Hands-on experience across design, fabrication, and offshore installation/commissioning. -Familiarity with construction and commissioning practices for offshore facilities. -Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
