The Role
Overview
Manage procurement of materials and services for Yorkshire housing projects.

Tasks
Acting as the link between suppliers, site teams, and senior leadership, you’ll support smooth project delivery across multiple live sites and ensure cost control, quality, and timely completion. You’ll lead supplier negotiations, produce tenders, and manage procurement schedules to ensure every development is efficiently supplied and compliant with company standards. - Oversee material orders, stock levels, and timely deliveries to sites As a Regional Buyer, you’ll play a key role in co-ordinating the procurement of materials and services across our Yorkshire developments. - Review technical drawings for accuracy and ensure materials meet specifications - Attend site and supplier meetings to strengthen relationships and identify improvements - Support cost reporting, invoice resolution, and compliance across all developments

What You Bring
- Knowledge of Health and Safety related issues - A full, valid driving licence - Proficiency in the use of COINS and Microsoft Office - Good negotiation skills - Excellent time management and organisation skills - An HNC/D or equivalent in a construction-based subject - A minimum of five years’ experience in a buyer role or similar This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced buyer with a good grounding in the construction arena to join our well-established and highly respected organisation.
