Advanced Energy Intern

Description

• Support for feasibility studies and designs for energy storage and microgrids if needed
• Support the preparation of reports, plans and specifications for client
• May work on field assignments such as attending local meetings, tradeshows, and client meetings as needed
• Support market research, audits, quality controls, etc
• Perform data entry, data management, data evaluation, and data present
• Support various project tasks including regulatory requirements/review estimates, research, procurement support, etc.

Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Pursuing Bachelor or Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, Energy, Sustainability, Energy Systems, or related field
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Possesses solid technical and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated, detail orientated person
• Experience with data analysis and familiarity with Power BI is preferred but not required
• Experience with engineering software applications (AutoCad, MathCad, ESRI, HydroCad, WaterCad, ARCView GIS, etc.) is preferred but not required
• Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
