Overview

Design and manage water resources projects, including stormwater and flood control.

Tasks

-Utilize software tools (e.g., HEC-RAS, SWMM, ICPR, ArcGIS) to model and simulate water systems, conducting impact analyses and risk assessments -Prepare project reports, technical memoranda, and design documents, presenting findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders -Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate water resources solutions with civil engineering and environmental projects -Support permitting processes by preparing documentation and liaising with regulatory agencies -Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support for professional development -Develop, review, and modify designs and plans for water resource infrastructure, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations -Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to design water resource management systems, including stormwater drainage, flood control, and erosion prevention -Participate in site assessments, inspections, and field studies to gather data and monitor project progress
