Tasks

As a Marketing & Communications Officer, you’ll help shape how our organisation is seen and heard. From crafting compelling campaigns via multi-media channels, you’ll use your creativity and attention to detail to bring our brand to life. You’ll collaborate with the teams across the business to ensure our messaging is consistent, engaging and aligned with our strategic goals. -Support the creation of consistent and high-quality presentations and point-of-sale materials -Collaborate with brand, design, SEO and digital marketing partners to ensure cohesive and effective campaigns -Provide Business Development and Talent Acquisition team with relevant marketing materials -Conduct market research and analyse audience and analyse audience insights to inform marketing and communication activities -Collate and publish case studies and news stories across social media platforms and the Group website -Build and maintain strong relationships with media representatives to enhance and promote the company’s image -Liaise with Directors to support the development and execution of marketing and communications strategies -Coordinate the design, production and distribution of in-house branded items such as gifts, stationary and promotional merchandise -Assist with the preparation of tenders, award submissions and related promotional content -Provide regular progress reports and performance updates to the Directors -Ensure all communications align with organisational goals, brand strategy and target audience objectives -Monitor and evaluate public perception of Doocey Group’s brand and reputation, providing insights and recommendations as required -Own and manage the company’s social media strategy, with a focus on driving growth and increasing engagement across multiple platforms -Proactively identify and develop newsworthy stories, initiatives, and opportunities within the business and external environment

What You Bring

-GCSEs including Maths and English at Grade 4-9 or equivalent -Self-motivated and proactive, with the initiative to identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement -1-2 years’ experience in a marketing, communications, or similar role – ideally within a multi-disciplinary or fast-paced business environment -Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, including social media engagement, SEO and content strategy -Proficiency in using social media management and analytics tools -Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously -Working knowledge of website content management systems such as WordPress or equivalent -Confident collaborator who can build positive relationships with colleagues, stakeholders and external partners -Full UK driving license -Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and messaging for different audiences -Professional, adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment -Competence in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Word for producing presentations and branded materials -Creative thinker with strong attention to detail and a passion for developing engaging content -Strategic mindset with an understanding of how marketing and communications support wider business objectives -Strong sense of brand awareness and commitment to maintaining a consistent and positive company image
