Senior Engineer - Purchase

Overview

Coordinate suppliers, monitor KPIs, forecast and deliver on‑time fabrication/machining OEM parts.

Tasks

-Support forecast accuracy improvement activities & understanding of BOM structure. -Monitor supplier performance KPIs and drive improvement activities to reduce lead times, improve delivery performance and support quality improvements. -Sign, follow up (maintain) and keep total ownership of parts to be arranged on time for production. -Organize supplier co-planning meetings to assure capacity of supply at key suppliers in global & Local demand planning forecasts. -Educate suppliers on how delivery performance is measured and how orders are handled at suppliers i.e., POs, emails, confirmations. -Provide inputs into MOQ and order multiple optimizations from supplier. -Support improvements of the supply flow to ensure we source in the right region based on country of origin and demand with zero shortage & on time delivery. -Ownership of delivery precision from suppliers.

What You Bring

-Able to work with CFT. -Prior experience working with MRP tools a plus. -Experience in end-to-end supply chain management, inventory management, and project management. -Good knowledge of understanding the production plan and accordingly schedule and PO release to vendor. -Knowledge & understanding of EXIM and customs related activities. -Attentive to details, organized and result- and solution oriented and have an ability to act and deliver in a dynamic environment. -Watch Video - Make in Nashik (the future is here) -Experience in the Fabrication, Machining & OEM. -Ability to develop supplier relationships. -Degree in supply chain, operations, or related degree. -Strong English communication skill both verbal and written. Additional language will be preferred. -Should be Agile, Quick learner with Problem solving attitude. -Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Power BI -Genuine interest in technology, people, teamwork and in achieving results. -Good in understanding the drawings. -Strong analytical skills. -5-7 years relevant experience in the same field.
