Tasks

-Ensure transmission outages are completed with utmost safety and in compliance with NER, AEMO procedures, and code requirements. -Develop and maintain rolling 24- and 13-months transmission outage plan in-line with AEMO requirements. -Provide technical input, identify risks and constraints, and advise stakeholders on mitigation. -Communicate effectively and mentor team members and stakeholders as required. -Coordinate, review analyse and schedule network access requests, optimise outage planning, and resolve conflicts to deliver the most efficient outcomes for TasNetworks’ transmission system. -Participate in planning and scheduling of transmission outages with various internal and external stakeholders – generators, DNSP, major industrial customers, Basslink, contractors and AEMO.

What You Bring

-Highly developed computer skills, including Microsoft Office, SAP, SCADA, and GIS tools. -Strong understanding of integrated power systems, transmission networks, protection and communication assets. -Strong planning, scheduling, and stakeholder management skills. -Current driver’s licence and -Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to change, and work under pressure. -Electrical Trade qualifications (Grade 3 or 4) with post-trade qualifications or extensive operating and maintenance experience on transmission and generation assets. -Eligibility to work under critical Infrastructure (SOCI) in Australia -Knowledge of National Electricity Rules, AEMO operating procedures, and National Electricity Market operations.
