Tasks
-Team Builder: Lead and develop key team members, aligning resources for our LD&ME sector. -Optimize and Profit: Optimize financial performance including net revenue, operating margin, and DSO (receivables). -Enhance the world around you - from the environment to the highways, to the buildings and the terrain, WSP is the fabric of Canada. -Drive Growth: Leverage your LD&ME expertise and client networks to fuel our business growth. -Prioritize and Uphold: Ensure that WSP programs of health, safety & environment; and ethics & compliance are an overriding part of the organizational culture -Collaborate and Satisfy: Work with peers nationally and globally to leverage technical expertise, ensure client satisfaction, and implement best practices. -Implement and Excel: Lead the implementation of the operating plan and its objectives, focusing on people development, client relations, project delivery excellence, quality, and financial performance. -Strategize and Forecast: Develop operating plans and financial forecasts in collaboration with the business line executive and the finance leader. -Strategic Acquirer: Use your market knowledge to identify potential acquisitions for WSP Global. -Mitigate and Deliver: Direct Leaders on measures to mitigate project performance issues and risks, ensuring successful delivery on contractual commitments and financial targets to meet client expectations and exceed profitability targets. -Unite and Lead: Guide the work of Vice-Presidents and Directors, bringing national teams together to support all business growth objectives. -Engage and Retain: Foster a high-performance culture and complete integration to a one WSP culture, ensuring a high degree of employee engagement and low turnover of staff.
