Tasks

-Assist in preparing federal and state tax returns and workpapers in coordination with tax operations team as needed. -Assist with the preparation of the Country-by-Country report and Master File for the federal tax return. -Prepare and analyze support for complex planning projects associated with the implementation of the company’s tax planning strategies. -Assist with special tax planning projects related to the quarterly and annual tax provision including data analysis and journal entry preparation. -Management of responses to tax notices, exam information requests and other correspondence related to state and international tax audits. -Work closely with teams across the company to collect and keep up-to-date key tax related information.

-CPA or CPA candidate -Ability to plan, organize, prioritize assignments, and meet critical and established deadlines. -Demonstrates ability to work independently and as part of a high-performance team; flexibility and ability to work under pressure. -Demonstrates analytical skills with attention to detail. -Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and adjust priorities in a rapidly changing environment. -Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills -Three to five years previous tax experience, preferably two+ years in public accounting or large corporate tax department. -Bachelor’s degree in Accounting -Experience with accounting and tax software systems (Hyperion, SAP and Corptax) a plus -Strong proficiency in Excel -Masters in Tax preferred -Learns quickly/implements new procedures, software tools, etc.
