Tasks
-Build client relationships -Communicate with the project team and client to understand the goals, challenges, schedule, budget, and expectations of a project -Follow prescribed safety practices for Land Surveying -Mentor and assist with local land survey staff activities, training, and career pathing -Draft and review scopes, schedules, statements of work, and estimates for survey work performed by survey team -Complete needs assessments and offer recommendations for new technology -Collaborate with other disciplines in the preparation of proposals for survey services -Assist with the management of workload, staffing and quality control for all survey efforts -Sit for extended periods of time -Drive a passenger vehicle -Create deliverables such as field note sheets, electronic data collection files, computation sheets, CAD base maps -Research client, government agency, state, county, or city records for information concerning surveys -Facilitate and coordinate the work of field survey crews and office survey staff -Manages archiving of survey records -Oversee preparation of all types of survey plans

What You Bring
-Tennessee PLS License or ability to obtain within 1 year. Multi-state licensure a plus -Use a computer and keyboard -Substantial experience working on a variety of land survey projects and have demonstrable project experience -Maintain a current driver's license in good standing and able to operate company owned vehicles -Knowledge with Bentley products such as MicroStation and OpenRoads a plus -Minimum of 5 years' experience in equal or related position of responsibility demonstrating past Senior level experience -Move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces -Self-motivated, self-starter with the ability to work in a team environment and independently -Highly organized, detail-driven, and conscientious -Demonstrate past business development experience -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -AAS or BS degree in a technology discipline such as land surveying, engineering, geology, forestry, or landscape architecture -Ability to accomplish survey tasks and projects with very little to no oversight -Strong Civil3D, Carlson and advanced GPS post processing software skills -Knowledge of terrestrial LiDAR and UAV/drone surveying a plus -Able to juggle multiple projects with competing deadlines -Willingness to work overtime as needed -Knowledge of advanced land surveying systems & technics, technology, and analysis
