Tasks

-Represents the BC through public speaking engagements and attendance at industry and community events, meetings, and conferences. -Collaborate with the BCOL in developing, attracting, engaging, and retaining top talent while supporting the overall talent management lifecycle including career development, employee engagement, succession planning, coaching and mentoring, diversity and inclusion, and leadership development for the BC. -Increase the visibility of Stantec, to enhance our reputation and drive revenue, by sharing our knowledge and innovation story at key client engagements. -Support the BCOL in meeting established targets net revenue, gross margin, overhead, and operating income in the BC. -Engage with our Sector Leaders and Account Managers to expand the BC’s reach and client base using strong marketing, business development, and account management plans. -Establish employee connectedness to leadership by interfacing frequently with employees and by conducting BCwide meetings to communicate the vision, business strategy and progress against applicable action plans with the BCOL. -Actively participate in the Go/No Go review process, contribute to win strategies and successful project execution through handson involvement in key pursuits, client management and project management. -Lead the annual marketing and business development (M&BD) plan for the BC and help manage the marketing spend. -Help meet regional business plan MBD, sales, and revenue targets within budget. Contribute to: Net sales revenue -Work collaboratively with the WIN team to drive growth of Energy & Resources and the BC by supporting business development activities, key pursuits, and MB&D strategy. -Build strong partnerships with business leaders in other BCs and BOUs to foster collaboration, grow new expertise, increase work share opportunities, and drive growth.

What You Bring

-Experience with responding to Requests for Proposals, Expression of Interests, Statement of Qualifications. -Professional Degree and registration preferred in your field of practice, as applicable. Minimum of 10+ years of experience in business development, account management, and project management in a multidisciplinary practice. -Highly collaborative and driven to form partnerships with Integrated Design, Global Delivery Centers, and across the Energy & Resources business line. -Experience across multiple service offerings and sectors a plus. -Demonstrated leadership on key projects and experience with delivering project excellence. -Strong sellerdoer capable of generating work and creating longterm relationships and delivering longterm value to clients for Stantec. -Excellent oral and written communication skills, organization, coordination, leadership, teambuilding and managerial skills. -An entrepreneurial orientation with strong understanding of the business development challenges of a consultingservices provider. -Knowledge of market assessment techniques, insights, and contacts.
