Tasks

-Responsible for: Monitoring ITS and electrical installation techniques to ensure conformance with the plans, specifications, National Electrical code and other applicable manuals -Responsible for: Inspecting construction work -Perform sampling and testing of component materials and completed work in accordance with the construction contract -Maintain detailed records of the contractor’s daily operations and events that affect the work, monitoring, and inspecting contractor’s work zone traffic control plan as well as reviewing modifications to the plan. -Responsible for: Coordinating and managing the lower level inspectors -Responsible for: Escalating any deficiencies to the Project Administrator -Inspect the construction work and conduct field tests -Prepare and check engineering computations

What You Bring

-Ability to reach horizontally as well as vertically for required tasks -Three (3) year of ITS CEI experience -Demonstrated knowledge in the qualifications -Good Driving Record -Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds -Ability to use construction or inspection safety equipment including fall protection -Ability to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time. Occasionally required to sit and stoop -Valid Driver License -Familiarity with Existing Communication Equipment and Switches -IMSA Fiber Optics for ITS Level II Field (or equivalent) -Ability to: Communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing) -Experience in Fiber Installation Inspection, OTDR Fiber Testing, and Controller Operation and Testing
