  • Attend and contribute to meetings during Japanese business hours several times per month.

  • Generate ideas for product development by providing insights on how requirements impact product design and cost.
  • Develop and maintain processes dictating proper change management, validation, and verification of requirements to ensure final product compliance.
  • Proactively improve tools, processes, and procedures of the Engineering team.
  • Maintain a Requirements Management system within the engineering organization to facilitate reuse of product requirements for future implementations.
  • Work with engineering leadership to develop, implement, and maintain design and development processes, ensuring best practices and integration across teams.
  • Adhere to all company policies and safety practices.
  • Decompose system requirements from various sources for use by the design engineering team, providing actionable inputs for the design of system elements.
  • Maintain a high level of understanding of core products and technologies delivered by Mitsubishi Power.
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Establish and maintain traceability between requirements and design, testing, and validation activities, ensuring that changes are documented and communicated.
  • Facilitate other business process development in the Codebeamer environment as directed by business initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of employees and maintain confidentiality.

  • Bachelor of Science degree (BS) in Engineering from a four-year accredited college or university.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business and technical documentation in English.
  • Travel on business 5–10% annually.
  • Systems engineering experience is highly desired.
  • Subject matter expertise in other engineering disciplines utilized in combined cycle plant design is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Acrobat, Excel).
  • Ability to write reports, correspondence, and procedures and present information to groups effectively.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions from complex information.
  • Knowledge of database management, project management, technical diagrams, and flowcharting tools.
  • Seven (7) to ten (10) years of applicable experience.
