Overview
Manage subcontractor insurance compliance and CCIP administration for Suffolk projects.

Tasks
-Identify noncompliant insurance through certificate analysis and exercise discretion in determining need to elevate to Risk Management Specialist to obtain insurance waivers. -Provide regular communication on the status of individual projects to the project teams. -Generally serve as a liaison between the program Broker and project teams -Coordination of CCIP start up and monthly review meetings with project teams -Follow up with subcontractors and agents regarding new, expired and non-compliant insurance. -Maintain and track subcontractor insurance policy information. -Monitor subcontractor payroll submissions -Obtain certificates of Suffolk’s insurance policy as required by contractual obligations -Review and analyze subcontractors certificates of insurance for compliance with Suffolk subcontract agreements and authorize access to job sites -Process and Track all subcontractor enrollments as well as making determination regarding subcontractor exclusions from the program -Actively participate as a team member within the Enterprise Risk Management department and with all departments within the Company -Train project teams on insurance administration procedures at project start up meeting

What You Bring
-Sound understanding of insurance and knowledge of coverage terms -Thorough working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook -Construction background preferred, but not necessary. -Detail oriented -Highly developed interpersonal skills for dealing with sensitive, or critical claims situations -Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist Designation -Candidate must possess Suffolk’s Core Values: Passion, Integrity, Hard Work, Professionalism, and Caring -Ability to travel at least on a quarterly basis -Willingness and ability to expand knowledge and effectiveness in both the commercial insurance industry and the construction industry -Excellent communication skills (both written / oral) / able to effectively communicate with all levels of the company -Possess and understand Suffolk Core values, goals and vision -Initiative to meet designated timetables with minimum supervision -Ability to prioritize multiple demands in a fast paced, changing work environment -Bachelor’s Degree, additional 1 - 3 years legal and/or insurance experience is preferred -Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal with all levels of staff, including public presentation skills
