Tasks
-Test Suite Automation -Develop automated test programs to implement defined test requirements that apply stimulus to and measure outputs from the UUT -Determine and assist procurement of components materials required -Use of revision control software for all source and document data -Test Design of Wiring Harness and accessories -Assist with performing analysis on technical OEM documentation, schematics, and UUT behavior to understand the functionality of the UUT regarding determination of test requirements -Help analyze test results and identify root cause of failures -Execute manual and automated tests to verify product functionality, performance, and reliability -Assist with designing physical interface connections requiring document generation of an electrical schematic or wire list and bill of material to connect the UUT input/output (I/O) to the Astronics test station I/O -Perform debug and troubleshooting procedures as required to resolve failure conditions during development and reported by end users

What You Bring
-Understanding of various documents needed to write a Test Requirements Document, including hardware specifications, ICDs, remote commands, schematics, operator manuals, maintenance manuals, and manufacturer’s Test Programs -Comfort with writing programs to remotely set up radios and take measurements from power meters, receivers, and generators in C# -Knowledge of basic functions tested on RF transmitters/receivers, such as power, modulation, sensitivity, selectivity, and frequency -Proficiency in using equipment/tools such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, multimeters, receivers, RF/signal generation -Knowledge of the purpose of an attenuator and the unit of frequency measurement (Hertz) -Proficiency in writing C# code -Familiarity with the three main types of modulation: amplitude modulation, frequency modulation, and phase modulation -Ability to troubleshoot using external test and measurement equipment -Experience with developing documentation from start to finish, including test requirements documents, validation plans, validation reports, and version descriptions -Familiarity with the internals of systems to be proficient
