Tasks

The Water Resources Engineer will be involved with all types of planning, design, and specialty services relating to community improvements, environmental compliance and permitting, infrastructure resiliency, stormwater engineering, and watershed modeling for our public and private sector clients.

What You Bring

-Advanced level of oral, written, and presentation communication skills -Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field, from an ABET-accredited program -Experience providing engineering services in Manatee and Sarasota Counties -Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience -Practical application of various hydrology/hydraulics software (e.g. BMP Trains, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, HSPF, ICPR, MODRET, StormCAD, StormWise, SWMM, etc.) -Experience with environmental resource and civil site permitting -Successful delivery of water resources and civil engineering planning studies, designs, and construction documents -Experience with ArcGIS Pro and Civil 3D -Professional Engineer license in Florida, or ability to obtain Florida licensure within 1 year of start date -Practical knowledge of developing and guiding construction plan preparation
