The Role

Overview

Manage Workday HCM, provide functional/technical support, reporting, and system admin.

Tasks

-Fulfill requests for maintenance of system security roles and assignments and perform routine user management to grant appropriate privileged access in Workday for consultants and employees. -Responsible for day-to-day administration of the core Workday functions (recruiting, onboarding, HR, learning) to ensure HR processes are flowing smoothly. This includes managing business processes, configuration artifacts and monitoring transactions for data quality and integrity. -Implement & manage new Workday integrations and troubleshoot production integrations processes. -Prepare and maintain documentation, including procedural manuals, HR department procedure/policy manuals, and other related documents. -Assist HR in utilizing Workday optimally and participate in regular training of users on new features and enhancements. -Maintain subject matter expertise in assigned functional areas and support the organization in the understanding and execution of best practices. -Utilize laptop and standard keyboard to perform essential functions of the job. -Prioritize work based on management direction and understanding of priorities from the business. -Attend work as scheduled on a consistent and regular basis. -Troubleshoot issues and implement minor enhancements in absence, time-off, scheduling, benefits and payroll processes. -Build custom reports to support business operations. Train others on basic reporting issues and needs. -Manage & support Workday upgrades in assigned functional areas through review and adoption of new features and regression testing. -Provide transactional assistance to Sands HCM team as needed. -Identify issues with system configuration and make recommendations for improvement of system functionality.

What You Bring

-Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience. -5+ years of experience supporting HR, with at least 2 years using Workday. -Proof of authorization to work in the United States. -Highly proficient in MS Office Suite. -Working knowledge of XML, XSLT preferred. -Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT, noise, dust, and cigarette smoke. -Prior system administration and support of a global HRIS and familiarity with GDPR is a plus. -Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays. -Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a relative field. -Must be highly skilled in configuring Workday business processes, calc fields, condition rules. -Understand and comply with Sands’ change management and information governance processes. -Strong working knowledge and experience with developing custom reports using Workday reporting tools. -At least 21 years of age. -Working knowledge in benefits, absence, time tracking and payroll modules is a plus. -Experience with process improvement; continually exploring opportunities to improve the processes (technical and non-technical) to enhance quality and increase productivity. -Physically access assigned workspace areas with or without reasonable accommodation. -Strong working knowledge of Workday recruiting, onboarding, HR and learning modules is required.
