Tasks

-Collaborate with construction teams to ensure that structures are built according to approved plans. -Collaborate with engineers to analyze and interpret data related to structural elements. -Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other team members to understand project requirements. -Create detailed drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software. -Conduct site visits to gather information, assess construction progress, and address any design-related issues. -Maintain comprehensive records of design changes, calculations, and project documentation. -Generate accurate and clear technical drawings for construction projects. -Assist in the development of structural designs based on engineer or architect specifications. -Communicate effectively to convey technical information and updates to the project team. -Review drawings and designs to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications. -Assist in identifying and resolving potential issues during the design and construction phases. -Ensure that all drawings and documents comply with relevant codes and standards. -Perform basic structural analysis using software tools to assess the stability and integrity of designs.

What You Bring

We are looking for a Qualified BIM Technician/Designer with strong Revit skills. You will be part of a large Multi-Disciplinary Engineering team that delivers high-quality, cost-effective, and sustainable building projects across a range of sectors. As a BIM Technician, you will work alongside engineers to produce highly detailed as-built drawings and Revit models. -Technical Skills: Structural Technician BIM Revit, AutoCAD, CADS RC, Civil 3D, General Arrangement, Navisworks. -Possess strong technical and construction knowledge. -Experience using Navisworks and leading clash detection from a structural perspective. -3+ years' experience working within a Structural Engineering environment. -Revit Technologist holding BIM qualification. -Excellent working knowledge of Revit with experience in creating structural models. -Full understanding and experience working with current Irish building and planning legislation is essential.
