Contribute to office activities, initiatives and learning programs
Documentation coordination with consultants (structural, MEP, lighting, AV, acoustical, accessibility, building envelope, life safety, etc.)
Review and contribute to proposals and contracts with the Project Manager
Resolve complex technical and design issues with team to produce innovative, technical, constructible solutions
Process submittals/substitution requests during construction and address RFIs
Interface with building and permitting officials during the permitting and construction phases of the project
Collaborate with, mentor and support team members
Direct production of drawings, specifications and construction administration tasks
Establish and maintain ongoing, productive client relationships
Manage ACHA communication and stage approvals
Conduct on-site observations and document site reviews
Coordinate with the project team, client, vendors, contractors, and consultants for a variety of healthcare projects (medical office buildings, hospitals, outpatient clinics, surgery centers, community health centers, etc.)
Actively participate and contribute to the financial performance of project
Responsible for delivery of documents with design intent and top-notch technical quality
Manage AHCA communication and stage approvals
Contribute to the maintenance and oversight of the project manual and specifications

Experience delivering healthcare buildings is required
A quick learner with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
10+ years of related experience on healthcare projects, from feasibility studies, pre-design, space programming, master planning to schematic design, design development and construction documents
Experience developing high-performance resilient building projects is preferred
Understanding of healthcare regulations and codes (FGI, FBC and NFPA)
Revit proficiency required
Expertise with building codes, standards and building structures - able to lead and guide our teams and clients with confidence
Experience working within AHCA (Agency for Health Care Administration) regulations to deliver projects in the state of Florida is preferred
Must have the ability to maintain existing client relationships and build new client relationships through successful project delivery
Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited school
Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices; Portfolios will ideally include at least one project (especially built projects with LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL Building Standard, Fitwel, and/or Net Zero Building certification) with this particular focus, which we look forward to discussing during the interview
