Oversees CNC operations, manages schedules, sets up and maintains machine tools.

Tasks

-Set up and operation of numerical control machine tools that automatically mill, drill and broach metal parts. -Select, measure, assemble and set machine tools such as drill bits and milling or cutting tools using precision gauges and instruments. -Operate multiple machines at the same time when not setting up. -Follow specifications or procedures for tooling set-up. -Maintenance work on machines as needed. -May be adjusting the machine for feed and speed, change of cutting tools or adjusting machine controls when appropriate. -Monitors and oversees work performed by CNC Operator.

What You Bring

-Lifting 40-50 lbs regularly and 70lbs occasionally and standing for long periods of time. -Be very organized and have high attention to detail. -Able to read and interpret precision drawings. -High school diploma or GED. -Able to do complicated programming editing. -Able to use measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, ring and plug gauges. -5+ years’ experience in CNC operations.
