Tasks

-Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team to design and deliver tailored programs and initiatives that drive continuous improvement and build safety capability across the project. -Champion the Project’s Values and Behaviours, leading by example with a proactive and visible commitment to safety. -Build strong relationships with internal leaders, contractors, and clients, ensuring alignment and consistency across the alliance. -Partner with stakeholders across all zones to coach, support and embed world-class WHS practices, systems, and procedures. -Lead and participate in high-level incident investigations and risk assessments, ensuring learnings are captured and shared. -Maintain and strengthen the Project’s WHS management systems, policies, and plans. -Analyse health and safety data to provide meaningful insights and drive performance improvements. -Provide expert technical input to ensure all legal and contractual obligations are clearly identified, controlled, and communicated.

-Proven capability in leading investigations, analysing data, and translating insights into practical improvements. -A confident safety professional with a genuine passion for creating safer, smarter workplaces. -Proven experience within major construction, infrastructure, or other high-risk projects. -Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage teams at all levels. -Holds a formal qualification in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent). -Strong technical knowledge of WHS legislation, compliance frameworks, and safety management systems. -Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to building a strong, positive safety culture across complex projects.
