Operate paint line equipment, assist finishing and packaging, ensure quality.

Tasks

-Provide general relief in support of line positions during breaks as assigned -Operate a simple piece of equipment, requiring basic instruction, as assigned -Perform general preventative maintenance & make minor adjustments to maintain equipment in good operating order -Check supplies to ensure smooth operation -Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations -Operate mobile equipment -Perform general clean-up and utility duties as assigned, including sweeping floors, picking up trash, painting, cleaning equipment, etc. -Operate hand-held tools and equipment including heat gun, stapler and banding equipment -Perform visual inspections & make hourly checks in regard in quality of board condition and package appearance to ensure all product meets quality standards

What You Bring

-Ability to work in a Team Environment -Lifting up to 50 pounds on a daily basis -Time management and prioritizing skills -Ability to properly assemble corners and manually paint units -Knowledge of simple equipment operation -Or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position. -Knowledge of line position duties and functions -Standing 90% of the time -High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. -Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations -3 – 6 months experience. -Knowledge of general plant operation functions and housekeeping requirements
