Tasks
-Develop a standardised approach to PM on Major projects in conjunction with other SBUs -You will be influential in shaping the strategic direction of our future project management strategies and solutions -Identify and manage the current workload and pipeline for project managers on major projects and opportunities within P&B -Provide project management on major projects and programmes -Lead the recruitment of subject matter experts for contract management, planners and financial management -Define the scope of, and best practice in, project management, contract management, financial management and schedule management for P&B major projects and identify the most effective way to deliver these services. -Working collaboratively with WSP disciplines including our any sub-consultants and project partners on projects and in the delivery of new project management solutions -Lead in approach to the development of skills and capabilities of individuals in project, contract, schedule and financial management

What You Bring
-Demonstrates collaborative behaviours, ethics and promote health, safety and wellbeing within the team. -Experience of project management for complex multidisciplinary projects with an understanding of the requirements for scheduling, financial and NEC contract management -You will be working on major projects across a range of sectors -Pragmatic practitioner of NEC forms of contract, who can apply the contract in a collaborative and positive fashion -Skilled and impactful communicator with the ability to unpick and present complex problems in an understandable and simplified fashion -Evidence of working in a fast paced and agile environment and really taking the lead for driving success goals into the delivery -Chartered Project Manager with the APM (or equivalent) or is working towards this. -Highly energised, confident and forward- thinking individual with an ambitious drive for positive improvement -Fantastic collaborator and facilitator with excellent negotiation skills -An architectural, engineering or project management degree
