  • Build Capability, Relationships & Stakeholder Alignment: Coach and support internal teams on compliance process, work closely with external partners, manage complex stakeholder interactions, and step into leadership responsibilities when required, demonstrating strong communication, relationship management, and analytical expertise.
  • Lead AGL’s Credit Integrity & Compliance Strategy: Drive the Integrity strategy in partnership with senior leadership, oversee hardship policy governance, manage regulatory issues, and provide strategic insights on industry trends that shape AGL’s credit operations.
  • Strengthen Quality, Governance & Risk Controls: Own the Credit Validation program, ensure vendor and internal quality assurance frameworks meet all compliance standards, maintain full compliance documentation, and actively prevent regulatory breaches and wrongful disconnections.
  • Create Simpler, More Efficient Credit Processes: Use root-cause analysis to streamline compliance and credit processes, resolve process inefficiencies, and improve the ease and efficiency of customer and stakeholder interactions with the Credit team.
  • Drive Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement: Lead internal and external audits, implement recommended improvements, and support the delivery of operational change and transformation initiatives.

  • Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills, with experience handling escalations, building relationships, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proven leadership in credit operations with proven experience, strong knowledge of regulatory guidelines, and ability to step into leadership roles when required.
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills, with a track record of training teams, improving customer experience, and managing compliance and risk effectively.
  • Expertise in credit management and collections, including process analysis, solution design, and successful delivery of operational change or transformation.
  • Advanced analytical and reporting capability, able to develop requirements, manage deadlines, and drive debt performance improvements within the energy industry.
