Tasks
-Maintain accurate payroll records, including employee data, earnings, deductions, and tax information. -Prepare and file payroll tax returns and reports as required. -Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll matters. -Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of payroll operations. -Generate payroll reports for management, internal and external auditors. -Provide guidance and support to the payroll team. -Evaluate and recommend payroll software and tools to streamline processes, as necessary. -Reconcile payroll accounts. -Review and approve payroll transactions. -Provide weekly benefit expense forecasts -Manage the annual year-end W-2 reconciliation process, ensuring complete accuracy and timeliness. -Administer and process payroll for all employees in the United States. -Collaborate with accounting, tax and human resources -Supervise and mentor payroll staff. -Manage payroll tax liabilities. Ensure accurate and timely filing of all payroll-related taxes. -Evaluate structure of the payroll department -Integrate payroll process for newly acquired entities and locations. -Establish and maintain payroll controls and payroll related procedures for SOX compliance. -Review and abide by all company policies and procedures. -Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and labor laws. -Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and issues. -Prepare standard benefit rates for application at the divisions -Ensure accurate calculation of wages, tax withholdings, and deductions. -Ensure compliance with all payroll-related legal requirements. -Assist with forecasting of benefit costs -Handle special pay runs for bonuses, commissions, and other payments as needed. -Ensure benefit accounts are properly reconciled -Utilize systems to improve efficiency and accuracy of processes. -Ensure that vacation accruals are accurately recorded in the company’s financial statements based on the relevant company policy. -Manage disbursement of funds for the net payroll, payroll taxes and other related items (e.g., garnishments).

What You Bring
-Strong understanding of federal and state payroll regulations. -Time management and organization skills to meet strict payroll deadlines. -Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive payroll information. -More than 7 years related experience and/or training -Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar payroll certification is highly desirable. -Experience with SAP is preferred. -Proven experience as a Payroll Manager or a similar role, with at least 7 years of experience in payroll processing and compliance. -Knowledge of payroll tax regulations in multiple states within the United States. -Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in calculations. -Bachelor's degree from four or 5-year college or university or equivalent experience -Experience with expatriate and foreign service payroll reporting, payments and coordinating related issues with responsible human resources personnel. -Familiarity with multi-state payroll processing. -Strong ethical and professional conduct. -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. -Effective communication and interpersonal skills. -Ability to adapt to changes in payroll regulations and implement necessary adjustments. -Experience with Oracle is preferred. -Prior experience in supervising and leading a payroll team. -Experience with ADP payroll software and systems is required. -Proficiency in payroll software (ADP) and Microsoft Excel. -Degree Level Bachelor's Degree
