Tasks

-Monitoring of environmental effects and the effectiveness of controls. -Ensure environmental works are carried out in accordance with the alliance standards. -Report environmental performance to internal and external stakeholders when required. -Coordinate accident/incident investigations and produce environmental bulletins and alerts. -Attend and present environmental content at daily pre-start and weekly toolbox meetings, as required. -Promote environmentally safe working practices and culture.

What You Bring

-Demonstrated practical understanding of resource consents and consent compliance processes. -Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science or related discipline. -2 years + experience in the environmental field. -Operational experience in the application of environmental principles in the construction industry (preferred) -Thorough working knowledge of environmental legislation and/or associated regulations.
