Overview

Develop cost estimates and manage change orders for airport projects.

Tasks

-Present at meetings and support negotiation of costs with contractors. -Develop cost estimates from drawings and specifications. -Accurately track change orders until payment is made. -Provide input into value engineering; negotiate and approve final accounts. -Develop scope of work and estimates for change orders and support the change order process. -Identify improvements for cost management procedures, templates, and products, and refer ideas to appropriate Lead Manager. -Maintain liaison with client and other consultants at all project stages.

-Certification for Estimating/ Cost Professional is a plus. -Strong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients’ toughest challenges. -Computer based estimating software experience a plus -Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence. -Must have Experience working in the Infrastructure (Rail/Transit Construction) -Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 5+ years’ experience in construction and preparation of estimates of Airports.
