Tasks
-Prepare final reports suitable for public release, maintaining technical integrity while ensuring clarity and transparency for external stakeholders. -Review all applicable permits, closure plans, and project records to verify that closure activities were conducted in the prescribed sequence and timeframe. -Provide input to the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to ensure alignment of reporting milestones and submittal timelines with project objectives. -Maintain rigorous quality control, document management, and record traceability to ensure all regulatory submittals are accurate, complete, and defensible. -Develop and author Readiness and Reuse Reports (Final Closure Reports) documenting that all demolition and closure activities were completed in accordance with permit and regulatory requirements. -Apply knowledge of demilitarization processes, waste management, and closure operations to interpret complex data and accurately represent compliance with permit standards. -Collaborate with the Environmental Closure Manager to provide technically accurate and comprehensive responses to CDPHE inquiries and comments. -Compile, validate, and organize supporting documentation such as analytical data packages, waste profiles, manifests, decontamination logs, and work orders to substantiate closure compliance. -Interpret technical waste-handling and characterization data to provide clear, evidence-based explanations to the ICRPE that support resolution of audit findings and validation of report conclusions. -Evaluate waste-handling documentation and manifests to verify compliance with regulatory classifications, manifesting requirements, and permit conditions. -Provide the basis for permitting changes by identifying data trends, operational outcomes, or closure conditions that require revision or update to existing permit language or supporting documentation. -Coordinate with the ICRPE to resolve technical questions, audits, or clarifications associated with readiness and closure documentation, ensuring concurrence on submittals. -Review and integrate Closure Sampling and Analysis Plan (CSAP) data into final readiness documentation, ensuring that analytical results and field data are accurately represented and technically defensible.

What You Bring
-Experience as a Waste Manager at a chemical demilitarization site, with demonstrated understanding of DA PAM 385-61 and operations at chemical weapons demilitarization facilities. -Associate or Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, project management, or related discipline with 10–13 years of relevant experience -Demonstrated expertise in demilitarization facility closure, providing the basis for permitting changes to the Environmental Closure Manager, waste manifest interpretation, CSAP data integration, and coordination with regulatory agencies. -Proven experience writing Demolition Readiness Reports for submittal to CDPHE and integrating environmental sampling data into final closure documentation. -Exhibits advanced technical command of waste characterization, environmental sampling, and regulatory documentation processes required to support facility closure activities.
