Tasks

-Support value engineering, progress reviews, and project optimization initiatives -Maintain a high level of professionalism and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. -Interpret and work with architectural and engineering drawings and specifications. -Adheres to all policies related to the handling of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). -Develop and manage cost estimates for large and complex projects at all design stages. -Utilize industry-standard estimating tools and software for detailed pricing and resource allocation. -Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure accurate cost management.

What You Bring

-Expertise in all discipline scopes of work -Possess excellent written and oral communications skills -AACEI Certification or the ability to get certified within 1 year of employment -Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft 365. -Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management (or related field). -US Citizenship (desirable) -8 plus years of experience in the estimating field with a cost consultancy or contractor. -Working knowledge of typical estimating software -Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment. -Experience using OST, MCACES (MII), Success Estimator, CostX, Cost OS, Timberline, is preferred but not required -Strong desire to learn or expand upon new methods and software
